Before you start
How do we start?
You fill in the form with some information about your business and what you expect from the site. We reply with the questions needed to define the scope, then with a written proposal.
What should I prepare?
A main goal, information about your business, the photos you have and access to your domain and existing services. The full list is in the guide «What to prepare before starting a website».
Do you work with clients outside Italy?
Yes. We work remotely with clients in Italy and abroad; we talk by email and, when needed, by video call.
I don't know what kind of site I need: is that a problem?
No: in the form you can choose «Help me choose». We'll suggest the right scope once we understand your business.
Costs and timing
Why don't you publish prices?
Because every project has a different scope: pages, languages, images, features, external services, care. We'd rather write a proposal for your case.
Are there recurring costs?
Domain, hosting, mailboxes and any external services have their own provider costs, listed in the proposal. Ongoing care, if you choose it, has an agreed fee.
How long does it take?
It depends on the scope and on how quickly materials and approvals arrive. Timings are written in the proposal, together with what we need from you.
During the project
Who writes the copy?
We write it from what you tell us; you confirm it's accurate. If you'd rather write it yourself, we review it to make it clear and effective on the web.
Can I see the site before it goes live?
Yes: you get a clickable preview, on computer and phone, and a complete version to review before publication.
How many rounds of revisions are included?
How revisions work is written in the proposal. We work in approved stages precisely to avoid redoing everything at the end.
Who do I talk to during the project?
Our team covers both development and technical support; you have one point of contact for the whole project and get updates at every stage.
After delivery
Is the site mine?
Yes: you receive the publishable site, the source files, the manual and the test report. Domain and services are registered to you.
Can I update it myself?
Simple changes, yes, with the manual. For the rest you can ask us for a quote or choose ongoing care.
What does ongoing care include?
Maintenance, regular checks, support, small changes within the plan and a monthly report. The details are on the Care page.
Can I change supplier in the future?
Yes. We hand over everything needed for anyone to carry on the work.
Technology, security and privacy
Are the sites secure?
We design security in proportion to what the site does: security headers, no keys in public code, services with minimal access. No system is invulnerable, and we say so.
Does the site use cookies?
Our presentation sites normally use no profiling cookies. If an external service requires them, consent is asked for before it's switched on.
Will the site be fast?
We design it to be light: images in modern formats, typefaces hosted on the site, essential code. We measure performance and report it.
Will the site be accessible?
We design towards WCAG 2.2 AA: contrast, keyboard, alternative text, reduced motion. The tests carried out are listed in the report.
Languages and additional services
How many languages can you build the site in?
As many as your business needs, each one complete: menus, forms, messages, metadata. Key translations are worth having reviewed by native speakers.
Do you build online stores?
Yes, on Shopify: setup, a customised theme, catalogue, payments and shipping. Details are on the Online store page.
Do you handle domain and email too?
Yes: registering or transferring the domain in your name, hosting, professional mailboxes and the technical settings.
